This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) explains how SVA Study / SVA Family (the “Company”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, stores, and protects personal data on https://svastudy.com (the “Website”), and describes your rights.

2. What personal data we collect:
We collect only the data necessary for the purposes described in Section 3.

2.1 Data you provide when submitting an application on the Website:
When you submit an application/request via our forms, we may collect and process:
  • Full name (first name, last name)
  • phone number (including WhatsApp number)
  • email address
  • country of residence
  • postal address (if you provide it in the form or messages)
  • any other information you voluntarily provide in your application (e.g., citizenship, age/date of birth, education details, preferred program/university)

2.2 Data processed during communication:
When you communicate with us via WhatsApp, email, or other channels, we may process:
  • the content of your messages and requests
  • files/attachments you voluntarily send (e.g., documents)
  • date and time of messages
  • delivery/read status metadata, where available

2.3 Technical data:
When you visit the Website, certain data may be collected automatically:
  • IP address
  • browser/device information and language settings
  • pages visited and timestamps
  • cookies and similar technologies (see Section 10)

3. Purposes of processing:
We process personal data for the following purposes:
  1. to receive and process your application submitted on the Website
  2. to contact you regarding university admission consulting and related questions
  3. to communicate with you via WhatsApp Business Platform (WhatsApp Business API), including sending operational messages related to your application
  4. to send you information and communicate via email while the WhatsApp Business Account (WABA) is not yet active and/or in parallel with WhatsApp (e.g., confirmation of receipt, instructions, materials, appointment links)
  5. to improve service quality, keep records of requests, and manage consultations
  6. to comply with legal requirements and protect our legitimate interests

Notifications clause (mandatory):
The Company has the right to send the User notifications about new products and services, special offers, and various events. The User may refuse to receive such messages by sending the Company an email to admissions@svastudy.com with the subject line “Unsubscribe from notifications”.

4. Legal grounds for processing:
We process personal data based on one or more of the following grounds:
  • your consent (e.g., when you submit a form, tick a consent checkbox, or contact us via WhatsApp/email)
  • necessity to respond to your request and provide services you ask for
  • our legitimate interests (e.g., security, fraud prevention, service improvement)
  • compliance with applicable laws of the Republic of Belarus and other applicable regulations

5. Sharing of personal data:
We do not sell your personal data.
We may share personal data only when necessary to provide our services and operate our infrastructure, and only to the extent required for the purposes stated in this Policy, including with:

  • Website hosting and technical support providers
  • email and office productivity service providers
  • CRM and lead management tools (if used)
  • communication services, including WhatsApp Business Platform

5.1 WhatsApp / Meta:
We use (or plan to use) WhatsApp Business Platform (WhatsApp Business API) for communication with users. This means that certain data (such as your phone number, message content, and message metadata) may be processed by companies associated with WhatsApp/Meta in accordance with their terms and policies. We use WhatsApp only for the purposes described in Section 3 of this Policy.

6. International data transfers:
Some service providers may process data on servers located outside the Republic of Belarus. In such cases, we take reasonable measures to protect your data and transfer it only as needed for the purposes set out in this Policy.

7. Data retention:
We retain personal data:
  • for as long as necessary to process your application and communicate with you for the purposes described in Section 3, and/or
  • longer where required by law or needed to protect our rights and legitimate interests
  • After the purposes are achieved, data is deleted or anonymized unless retention is required by law.
8. Data security:
We use organizational and technical measures designed to protect personal data from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction, including:
  • role-based access controls for employees and contractors
  • strong passwords and two-factor authentication where available
  • access control for corporate email accounts and internal systems

9. Your rights:
Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to:
  • request information about whether we process your data and receive a copy of your data
  • request correction of inaccurate data
  • request deletion or restriction of processing where legally applicable
  • withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
  • opt out of notifications (see Section 3)
